Recovery from Lung Cancer

In 2015 I was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer.  I did radiation and chemo but then bailed when I knew the chemo was killing me.  At that point it had spread to my liver so it was stage 4.  This was in June 2015 and the doctor said, "If it's not aggressive you'll be able to enjoy your summer."  That meant I had 4 months.  What did I do?  

 

In early July 2015 I went to see Lino and Jane Stanchich They gave me exact macrobiotic diet instructions tailored to my diagnosis.  I followed them to the letter and didn't "cheat".  It was actually easy because they told me what I could eat and what to stay away from.  I also started Essiac tea in addition to a whole life detox.  Anything toxic had to go. 

 

A few months later I had a scan and even the doctor was surprised at the amount of improvement.  I stuck with the diet and in September 2017 I got the desired NED report; no evidence of disease.  It's now over six years from the dreaded diagnosis and I remain healthy, living a full life.
